The California Highway Patrol is currently handling two separate accidents about six miles apart on Highway 299.

The first collision occurred around 11:28 a.m. between a sedan and pickup truck near mile marker 31. No injuries have been reported. However, a passenger in the sedan was trapped and needed to be extricated by emergency units. Scanner traffic indicates both vehicles had major front end damage.

The second crash appears to be a single vehicle rollover that occurred around 11:46 a.m. near mile marker 22. There is a doctor on scene, but CHP reports there are no injuries. Both lanes of Highway 299 are currently closed off at this location.
