The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office details their busy month in the broad press release below:
On various dates in November and December of 2015 the Trinity County Narcotics Task Force and the United States Forest Service led a county wide Criminal Interdiction Operation with assistance from approximately fifteen Law Enforcement Officers from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, United States Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and Department of Justice.
The operation(s)produced the following statistical data:
- Arrests and/or citations: 59
- Warrant arrests: 8 (Including 2 wanted attempted homicide suspects)
- Processed marijuana: 1,470 pounds
- Growing marijuana plants: 50
- Methamphetamine: 4 ounces
- Cocaine: 10 grams
- Heroin: 3 grams
- Illegal liquid substance (steroids): 60 ML
- Illegally possessed pills: 611
- US currency seized: $17,300
- Firearms recovered/seized: 2 (stolen)
