Original Post: The Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing unit has been serving a drug-related search warrant near the corner of 15th and P streets for the last few hours, at what neighbors describe as an “unfinished house.”
The department’s public information officer, Brittany Powell, tells the Outpost that police detained four people at the scene at about 11:20 a.m. today, but that she does not yet have more information about whether those people have been arrested, or whether drugs were discovered in the house.
Five police cars are still on the scene. We will update when we know more.
