From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Sunday, December 6, 2015 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Humboldt County Deputy Sheriffs were dispatched to McKinleyville Ave near the high school for a report of a suspicious subject. When deputies arrived they made contact with arrestee Larry Gene Blake, 55, of McKinleyville. Blake had blood on his face from an unknown injury. Deputies questioned Blake about his injury and Blake stated he has warrants for his arrest. The Deputies confirmed Blake had three felony warrants out for his arrest.

After Blake was handcuffed and placed in the back of the patrol vehicle, a search of Blake’s backpack was conducted. Deputies located 13.9 oz. of methamphetamine, paraphernalia indicating possession of a controlled substance for sales, a cellular phone, and $940 in Blake’s wallet.

Blake was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional facility for his three felony warrants, HS11378 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales; HS11364(a) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and PC1203.2 – Violated Terms of Probation.
