Emergency personnel have responded to an accident at Sixth and E streets in Eureka involving a white Mitsubishi and a man on a skateboard. Captain Steve Watson told LoCO‘s Ryan Burns that an eyewitness reported the skateboarder ran a red light while traveling north on E Street, resulting in the collision.
The skateboarder was taken away in an ambulance. Southbound E Street is blocked between Fifth and Sixth but should be open soon.
