According to a spokesperson at Hoopa Tribal Police, they are investigating an incident where an individual was shot around 4 p.m. The gunshot victim was flown to Redding where the person is receiving medical care at Mercy Hospital.
The spokesperson was unable to release more information because there was an ongoing investigation. Scanner traffic indicates that a male was shot by a .22 across from the nursery in Hoopa. A woman was reported to be the shooter.
