John G. Lenardo IV, fondly known as “Little John”, born April 20, 1962, departed from this earth January 2, 2015. He will be joining his best friends, Tom Trotter and Jay Anderson, who preceded him several years ago.
He loved and cherished his family and was always there to help them out when needed. He was full of life and always had a smile. He took great pride and responsibility in the work he did with Leonardo Logging. When he wasn’t working or helping his family and friends, he enjoyed watching his 49ers play and Nascar racing.
John was a loving, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He will always be remembered as a very kind and generous person in all of his walks in life. “Little John” was well known and highly respected in the logging community. He will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his parents, John Lenardo III and Valerie Hurst, sister Lisa (Larry) Noble, brothers Michael (Brooke) Lenardo, Jeffrey (Shawn) Lenardo and Scott (Tammy) Lenardo. He was especially fond of his nieces and nephews; Garrett, Kaithyn, Maia, Kendall, Madison, Savannah, Hannah, Chelsea and Cody. John’s extended family included Leonardo Logging Company, which was a daily part of his life for the past 30 years.
The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his name.
