Lucille Meirs went to be with the Lord on Feb. 23, 2015, at St. Joseph Hospital. Lucille was 62 years old. She was born March 22, 1952, in southern California to Jesse and Marcellino Garcia. She was the second to the youngest of 14 children.

Lucille was well known for her big smile, generosity, dancing, singing and love for the Lord.

She had a beautiful voice and was never to shy to sing and show her praise. She never judged, just showed her love and compassion to any near.

Lucille had her own way of doing most things and her own style of fashion. She was always fashionable.

Lucille loved to make jewelery for friends and family. She loved to walk with her grandson to the beach to gather pretty stones.

Lucille was preceded in death by both her parents, Jesse and Marcellino Garcia, and her brothers, Salvador and Robert Garcia.

Lucille survived by her family and children: Leonard and (wife) Natalia Garcia, Lillian and (husband) Tim Raska, Lloyd, Lewis, Lioneland Lorraine Garner; Lucille’s grandchildren, Nathen Garfield, Dylan, Dakota, Sterling and Sadie Raska, Caira Kemble, Alyssa Garner and Lena Garcia; also by her brothers and sisters Mary, Margaret, Henrietta, Bertha, Eleanor, Stella, Frances, Phillip, Leonard, Alice and Rose.

We will be holding her celebration of life Lighthouse Community Church, 2455 Oliver Ave, Crescent City, Calif, on March 27th at 11 a.m. RSVP.
