The Arcata Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection to Saturday night’s home invasion/homicide in Arcata, bringing in Robert Louis Huntzinger (age 33 34) around midnight last night in Blue Lake and Billy Joe Giddings (age 35) this afternoon around 3:45 near the Tish Non Village community across from Bear River Casino, according to Arcata Police Chief Tom Chapman. Both men have been arrested on charges of murdering 38-year-old Trevor Mark Harrison, of Arcata, and booked into the Humboldt County Jail.

Earlier this year, Huntzinger was arrested twice in the same week for heroin possession.

On Sunday APD officers arrested Kimberly Lyn Steele, 28, at her home in Samoa and brought her in for questioning. Steele was later booked into jail on robbery charges, though Chapman said her role in the homicide would continue to be investigated.

Police previously said they believe the home invasion and murder were marijuana-related. The Outpost also spoke with George Cavinta, lieutenant with Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, who said his agency assisted the Arcata Police Department with today’s operation.
