Bad day for cars on the streets of Eureka. Fourth Street at F is currently backed way up after a rear-end collision that send one to the hospital a few moments ago..

Officer Tim Jones of the Eureka Police Department tells the Outpost’s Andrew Goff the driver of a green sedan (pictured below) rear-ended into another vehicle, and was sent to the hospital by ambulance but was “conscious and alert.”

“Traffic stopped and she didn’t,” Jones said.
