Born to Freddie Lee Adams and Goldie Mae Adams on February 19, 1954 in the town of Scotia, Joe Adams is survived by his wife Wanda, daughters Regina & Amy, his grandson Jacob, mother Goldie, sisters Delphia and Sherrie, and brothers Steve, Ray and Corey. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie.

Joe worked for many years at Eel River Sawmills as a diesel mechanic, then in the early 2000’s started his own mobile mechanic business. He enjoyed riding around his property on his quad with his grandson Jacob and pack of pups. Joe touched many lives during his short time here. His great sense of humor and his Viking stature made him an unforgettable man.

In February of this year he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He sadly lost his battle a mere nine months later. Joe passed away peacefully on Nov. 10, 2015 at the age of 61.  

Services will be held& Saturday Nov. 21, 2015, at 2 p.m. Please join us at the Van Duzen River Grange (5250 Highway 36) in Carlotta to celebrate his life.
