Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release: 

On 10-26-2015 at 11:42 p.m. the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a 45 year old male victim had been shot several times while driving his vehicle on Pine Creek Road, Hoopa. The victim was transported to the Hoopa Ambulance Center in Hoopa by friends. The victim was then transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The victim is currently listed in stable condition

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is currently on Pine Creek Road attempting to locate the area that the shooting occurred. At this time there are no suspects associated with this incident. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in this investigation.
