Followers of “Scanner Traffic Indicates” superstar Tristan Mitchell already know that the sirens racing toward 10th and M about half an hour ago were there to knock down a small fire.
Humbodt Bay Fire Battalion Chief Kent Hulbert told Outpost publisher Shane Mizer, who happened to be in the neighborhood, that the fire in question was sparked in a garage, and was easily handleable. Hulbert speculated that it may have been sparked by construction activity today.
