Eliza Winola Allen Neiva quietly passed away in her home surrounded by loved ones on September 24th, 2015.

She was born May 9th, 1938, in Pukoo, Moloka’i, Hawaii to Wilfred Earl Allen and Sarah Kela Lima. She grew up on Moloka’i until about the age of five, then moved to Maui when her dad had a job change. She had attended Kamehameha School during middle school and then back to Maui for high school and graduated from Maui High in 1958.

She went to Church College of Hawaii and there met Felix Neiva on a blind date. Later they married and had five children and had two foster/hanai children. She lived to assist her family in any way - through sports, camping or just babysitting when grandchildren came along.

She was an amazing woman of service. She served well in her church and community.

She is survived by her husband Felix Neiva Sr.; children Rayleen Kuuleimomi, Robert Leialoha, Felix Moki, Jocelyn Haunani, Helen Kealapua and foster/hanai kids Alvin Allen and Leilani Unga, kids’ spouses and 22 grandchildren. Her smile and laugh will be missed. We are all sure she is having a grand reunion with her mom, dad and brothers who have gone before her.

The funeral will be on Oct. 10, 2015 at the LDS Chapel on 2806 Dolbeer at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. and the service will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m
