Numerous firefighting agencies are currently responding to a small vegetation fire just east of Bridgeville on Highway 36.
The first personnel to arrive have noted that power lines are down across the highway; presumably the area is impassible at the moment, though no one on scene has yet mentioned that and there is no mention of a closure in CHPWatch as of this writing.
Firefighters report an approximately 50’x50’ fire in the undergrowth of a forested area, with a potential to spread to about half an acre. No structures are threatened.
The Outpost’s BlackoutBot reports 95 customers without power in the immediate vicinity of the fire.
