Kelly Pruitt had been missing since Sept. 12

UPDATE, FRIDAY
Investigators from the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office and Kelly Pruett’s family have made contact with Kelly Pruett. She is alive and well. No other information will be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

UPDATE, TUESDAY
On September 17, 2015 Kelly Pruett’s 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was located off of Highway 299 east of the Weaverville area. There were no obvious signs of foul play found in the vehicle. Investigators are continuing
to follow up on leads of Kelly Pruett’s whereabouts. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person on September 14, 2015. The missing person was identified as Kelly Pruett of Hayfork, CA. She was last seen by friends leaving her residence in Hayfork in the early morning hours on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Possibly on her way to Weaverville, CA. It is believed that she arrived in Weaverville and returned to Hayfork but her whereabouts upon her return to Hayfork are unknown. She may have friends in the Corning or Red Bluff areas. Kelly Pruett is 42 year old white female, 5’5”, 200 lbs, blonde hair and green eyes. Ms. Pruett was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, silver in color, CA License Plate 5BUS175.
