UPDATE
###
There was a giant fire on Blue Lake Boulevard, just on the edge of the town center early this morning at about 1:30 a.m.
Outpost scanner correspondent “Just-In” caught many of the basic details as the fire was happening. It started in a home on the 300 block of Blue Lake Boulevard that quickly became “fully involved,” and may have spread to a second building on the same property.
At about a quarter to five, all fire personnel were released and the scene was left in the custody of a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputy, who would hold it until arson investigators arrived.
We’ll update when we know more. More photos from the scene, sent in by Friend o’ the LoCO George N. Ponnay III, below.
