The forest was not kind to a Caltrans truck parked on Highway 36 near Carlotta over the weekend. Crews were in the area removing deemed-to-be-hazardous tree limbs when they witnessed a pair of trees timber attack their pickup rendering the vehicle inoperable. No humans were injured.
