Yesterday the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office told us about a multiagency marijuana raid on two parcels out in the Dinsmore area last Friday. which involved local law enforcement officers, code enforcement officials and representatives of the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, the state Water Resources Control Board and people from the federal Bureau of Land Management.
Over 9,500 growing plants were found during the raid, along with a quantity of processed weed and psilocybin mushrooms and hash oil, an armory of firearms and, according to the Sheriff’s Office, numerous environmental violations. Two were arrested.
Today the Sheriff’s Office released a number of pictures taken during the raid, some of which document the unpermitted construction of water ponds and various structures. They also appeared to have a pretty serious propane or natural gas setup in the woods out there.
