Leonard F. Powell born July 30, 1940 passed away from lung cancer on August 9, 2016. Born in Hermanville, Miss. and relocated to Eureka, where he resided for the past 64 years.

He was surrounded by his loving wife, Teena of 37 years, and his sister Imogene.

He leaves behind two sisters, Jean Scott and Imogene Reed. Two brothers, Lonnie and Darrell Powell. Two sons, Harold Powell and Roy Josephson. Two daughters, Lynnette Powell and Christina Zeck. Five granddaughters; Tiffiney Shotenkirk, Stephanie Powell, Paige Anderson, Jennifer Fusi, and Stephanie Reeves. One grandson, Travis Josephson. Also Eleven great grand-children.

Leonard was able to share his 76th birthday with many of his relatives, sharing laughs and smiles and even driving Teena and himself to and from his party at his Sister Imogene’s house.

Many thanks to Hospice for all of their caring support through this process.

He will be missed by all. At the request of the deceased there will be no services.
