The Smug’s Pizza shop in Old Town Eureka was robbed at gunpoint a few moments ago.

A man who had walked into the shop showed employees a handgun and demanded money. He ended up taking cash from the register and also took the employees’ tip jar. He then fled the scene.

The Outpost’s Andrew Goff, who spoke with employees at the scene, tells us that no one was injured.

Police are looking for a tall man — between 6‘2” and 6‘4” — who was wearing jeans and a gray sweatshirt at the time of the robbery, with a black cloth over his face. He was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.

We’ll update when we know more.
