UPDATE, 1:20 a.m.: The Times-Standard reports that the Eureka Police Department is on scene to provide crowd control. North Coast News files some video of fire to Facebook which chronicles the collapse of one of the building’s main walls, above. (Note: Contrary to the videographer’s claims, this fire is not near the Ingomar Club. See the map at the bottom of this post.)

Humboldt Bay Fire is currently battling a structure fire in Old Town Eureka on the waterfront between C and Commercial streets. The Facebook page for the M/V Madaket has posted a few pictures (see below) and reports that the the fire is affecting an old ice packing and cold storage building. 

We’ll likely know more in the morning.
