Gnarly calamari!

A 12-foot long robust clubhook squid caught off the Humboldt coast by a local fisherman was recently brought into the Humboldt State University Marine Biology Lab, and you can go check it out for yourself.

The squid species is the third largest in the world, and if you’re interested in taking an epic squid selfie, the clubhook will be on display at the Marine Lab in Trinidad until tomorrow. More info here.
