Anna Francis Wilson passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka on February 10, 2016. Born February 15, 1962 in Humboldt County, she spent most of her life in and around Humboldt County.
Anna loved to bead. She was very creative in her arts and crafts, crossword puzzles, canning in the summer, baking. She could also master putting together any hors d’oeuvre tray, and she was a social butterfly. She had a deep love for all her grandchildren, animals, family and friends. She was always helping people in need, with a place to stay and food.
Anna’s father was Clarence William Wilson, born in New York, and her mother was Grace Ellenore Laughlin, born in Eureka. They both lived in Humboldt County mostly all their lives. They had nine children to this union — Austin, Rose, Tina, Robert, Clarence, Frank, Albert, Carl and Anna Wilson.
Anna’s first marriage was to James Albert Henderling Jr. To this union two children were born — one daughter, Jolene Marie, and one son, James Albert Henderling III.
Her second marriage was to Stephan Wayne Lee Sr. To this union one son was born: Stephan Wayne Lee Jr.
Anna had four grandchildren: Heather Morris, Jozlin Dickerson Nathanual May and Shellbee Lee.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Clarence William Wilson; mother, Grace Ellenore Laughlin, and her son, James Albert Henderling III, along with many other family members.
At Anna’s wishes there will be no memorial services of any kind, only an obit into the Lost Coast Outpost Newspaper and scattering of her ashes at sea at (Luffenholtz Beach) in Trinidad. Name of funeral service: Ayers Family Cremation in Eureka.
The family would like to stay a special thank you to Bob Foulton, for always being there for Anna as a big brother throughout the years!
Stephan and Jessica Lee would also like to say a special thank you to Rose and John Peterson, and to Viola Long, for helping with the funeral arrangements.
Gone too soon mama, but will never be forgotten!
