From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, at about 7:20 p.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible human remains found on Redwood Grove Rd, Hoopa. Deputies responded and verified the remains as appearing human. The Criminal Investigation Division and Coroner’s Office were called out and are investigating the scene.
