Richard Scott Weber passed away on December 26, 2015 at the age of 61. He was born to Richard & Betty Jean Weber on July 17, 1954. He went by Scott Weber.

He went to various schools. When he got out of high school he worked for a mill in Hoopa. After that he went into Army in 1975 and became a generator operator and fuel truck driver. He spent some time in Germany. He got out in 1978.

He met his future wife Gloria Kelly in 1979 and started living together for 18 years before getting married and enjoying the next 18 years as married couple. Scott helped raise her three sons as if they were his.

He went to CR to become an auto mechanic but changed his major and became a truck driver. In 1989 he started driving logging truck for Steve Will’s. Then he drove for Wayne Bare Trucking. After that he drove dump truck for Ford Logging, and last for Three Star Logging, driving water truck.

He loved going fishing, crabbing and deer hunting. He always had stories from his younger days and his Army days, then he started to drive truck and he would come home and tell me story what happen that day. He loved sitting outside during the summer months, and when family and friends come up to spend the weekend the party was around the fire pit at night or sitting at the bar in his home telling stories until one in the morning. He was a great father, he was a kind giving soul, always giving a helping hand when needed. He saved a young girl’s life that was in a car accident that was up round the corner of the highway.

He his survived by his lovely wife Gloria and sons Chris (Rachael) Singleton (Palmdale), Tim and girlfriend Jerelynn from Texas, Kelly and his girlfriend Alissa, Samoa; his grandchildren Rebekah, Sean, Kiley and Tyler and a new granddaughter in March. He loved his grandchildren very much. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Jean Benson; his sisters, Suzie and her husband Emilio Pawlus from Eureka, and Diane Utterback from Arizona, and Roxy and Steve Rapalyea from Chiloquin, Ore.; also nieces and nephews and greatnieces and greatnephews.

He is preceded in death by dad Richard (Dick) Weber; step-dad Paul Benson; nephew Jody Arragon; Grandfather Ted and Grandmother Bertha Bowermaster; Uncle Ray Bowermaster.

As his request, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
