From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
On Thursday, 07-07-2016 and Friday, 07-08-2016 the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) along with CAMP (Campaign Against Marijuana Planting) personnel, and Fish & Wildlife (F&W) Officers conducted a trespass marijuana investigations in Pecwan, Weitchpec and Orleans areas of Humboldt County.
Officers eradicated a total of approximately 16,000 outdoor marijuana plants that ranged in size from 2 feet to 4 feet in height. The marijuana plants were located on Hoopa and Yurok Tribal lands and United States Forest Service property. There were no arrests.
