Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On 07-24-2016 at 4:25 a.m. Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence located in the 4400 block of Bailey Street, Eureka. Deputies responded to a report of a home invasion robbery that had just occurred.
When deputies arrived on scene they contact two male victims age 32 and 35. Both victims said two male suspects entered their residence displaying handguns. The victims said before they entered the suspects were yelling out loud, “Sheriff’s Office”. The victims described the suspects as white, male adults. The victims said the suspects were wearing black ski masks with black clothing. The victims said there was a third suspect present, who they described as a white female in her 30’s or 40’s, with strawberry blond hair. The female was not wearing a ski mask. Both victims said they were uninjured in the incident.
The victims said the suspects took approximately 100 growing marijuana plants from their residence along with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the residence in one of the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered by law enforcement. When deputies first arrived on scene they checked the area for the suspects and were unable to locate them.
