Carline (Carlina) Louise Gitchell of Hoopa California passed away on June 10, 2016 in Eureka California at the age of 58.

Carline was born in Willits on Sept. 6, 1957 to Edith Zumwalt.

Carline was a devoted Mother, Nana, sister and friend. A shining light of inspiration. She had a witty sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Among the many things Carline loved to do were gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. Her favorite thing was camping on the Salmon River at Hoteling campground with family and good friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Edith Zumwalt, stepfather Charlie Moon, Uncle Jim Grats and best friend and companion animal Diego.

She is survived by her son Jesse Gitchell Sr. And wife Threasa Rhyne, daughter Melisa Gitchell, four grandsons Michael Coburn, Tristan Gitchell, Jordan Gitchell and Jesse Gitchell Jr., brother Reese Lopes, Sister Marlea
