Readers pinged us yesterday about a law enforcement convoy out the Mattole Road, somewhere in the general vicinity of Honeydew and the King Range.

And lo and behold, today’s BOOKED shows that one Steven Lewis Conselvi was arrested for marijuana cultivation by the Bureau of Land Management.

Leisyka Parrott, the acting public affairs officer in the BLM’s Arcata office, did yeoman’s work today trying to get us more information on the case — things like if plants were found on the site, or how many, or if it involved a trespass grow on federal lands — but she was able to finagle only the following statement out of her law enforcement-oriented colleagues. “Ongoing investigation,” they say.

Statement from the Bureau of Land Management:

Bureau of Land Management  law enforcement agents and Humboldt County Sheriffs Office served a search warrant on private lands within the King Range National Conservation Area.

BLM agents and Humboldt County Sheriffs Office arrested Steven Lewis Conselvi for illegal cultivation of marijuana.

This is a result of an ongoing investigation.
