A sailboat ran aground near the North Jetty this morning after the tide went out around 6 a.m.
A representative with the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Humboldt Bay told the Outpost that the boat is currently high and dry, and that no rescue was needed.
The next high tide will be at 12:30 p.m.
