Steven Earl Walp was born on February 9, 1950 in Eureka, California to Lou Ella Marciel Walp (Bryant) and Raymond Earl Walp. He left this earth on February 12, 2016, just three days after turning 66 years old.
Steve was a very fun-loving and adventurous man with a free spirit that loved anything and everything about the outdoors and loved to have fun. He had a great sense of humor and could brighten up a room with his joyful presence. He loved to laugh and to make people laugh; He loved practical jokes; He loved music and could sing a pretty good tune and even strummed the guitar a little! Some of his greatest pleasures were riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed playing pool and was actually a very good pool player.
Steve was a proud man. He was very proud of his shooting skills, hunting skills, pool playing and motorcycle riding. He was extremely proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps from 1973 until 1977. But, most of all, he was proud of his 3 daughters, Jodi, Kerri and Bethany. He loved them very much.
Steve had spent the last 20 years of his life living at the Ruth Trailer Park where he was able to enjoy the country life every day. He made many good friends in this small, close-knit community and his passing has truly left a void in their lives.
