In loving memory of Donna Mae Stevens-Sager
May 4th 1946 to February 29th 2016

Donna had a lifelong love for horses and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grand-children. She also loved long conversations with her sisters. She was the backbone of the family — we all looked to her for advice and love. If anyone had a problem Grandma would make it all better. She loved to share her passion of flowers and gardening with her great-grandchildren — especially Trinity who is only three.

She was a great-grandmother and mother and daycare provider for many years, nurturing all who came into her life. She will be remembered fondly and lovingly and with great admiration.

She willl be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Donna was preceded in life by her parents, Macy and Ruby Hinthorne. She is survived by her husband, John Sager, and she leaves behind three children: daughter Deanna Cooley and husband Dale Cooley, and two sons: Brad Stevens and wife Angel Stevens, and Kevin Stevens. She is also survived by her four grandchildren — Heather Matthias-McCaw, James McCaw, and wife Myriah McCaw, Brian Stevens and wife Teresa Stevens, Amber Tanno and husband Tim Tanno — and nine great-grandchildren, Daniel Cooley, Trinity Ascar, Jimmy McCaw, Katie McCaw, Lilly McCaw, Ronan McCaw, Bradon Stevens, Breanna Stevens and Brooklyn Stevens.

She also leaves behind two loving sisters, Twilla Arias and husband Tony Arias, and Marlene Hinthorne, two great brothers, Raymond Hinthorne and Kenneth Hinthorne, as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Donna’s life to be held on May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Center Church located at 1032 Bay Street, Eureka.
