Press release from Arcata Fire:

Just before 7:00 A.M. Thursday morning, Arcata Fire District’s Kubota generator was stolen from the parking lot of their temporary headquarters office. The office is located at the corner of 6th and I street in Arcata. The Arcata Police Department has been notified and is currently investigating this incident.

The suspect was driving an older model gold or tan Suburban with mismatched wheels and tinted windows. The suspect is a white male, bald and appears to be middle aged.
