Fortuna Police Department press release: 

On March 11, 2016 about 8:15 PM officers with the Fortuna Police Department responded to a gas station located on the 300 block of S. Fortuna Blvd, to the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers determined that an adult male subject with light colored skin wearing a black mask, sunglasses, black and white plaid shirt, dark colored pants, with gray and black gloves entered the business and brandished a black semi automatic handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect was last seen leaving the business on foot in an unknown direction.
