From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On 03-09-2016, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a commercial burglary that occurred at the Point Delgada Mini Storage, 9 Delgada Circle, Shelter Cove.

Upon Deputies arrival, it was discovered that over twenty-five storage lockers had been burglarized. To assist Deputies with evidence collection, a Community Service Officer and an Identification Technician, who specialize in crime scene processing, responded to the scene.

Deputies reviewed the surveillance footage at the business for possible suspect leads. The surveillance videos show that two unknown suspects entered the property this morning at about 12:45 a.m. The suspects are later seen departing the business at about 2:30 a.m.

This investigation is in the preliminary stages and Deputies are following up on multiple leads. At this time the amount of stolen property is yet to be determined. It has been confirmed that numerous firearms were stolen. Additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
