UPDATE, 7:04 p.m.: More from the Eureka Police Department:
On 5-10-16, just after 5:00 PM, EPD responded to a doctor’s office on the 2700 block of Harrison Ave. regarding an at risk missing person. Ludwig Walter Dannhausen (age 65) reportedly walked out of the doctor’s office and left on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Dannhausen was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with an Einstein photo on the front, brown pants, and a tan flannel shirt. He also has a bandage on his forehead. Dannhausen is further described as a white male adult, 6-1, 170 lbs., with brown or black slicked back hair, brown eyes, and a long black mustache. He may or may not be wearing glasses.
Dannhausen is considered to be at risk due to a serious medical condition. Anyone who sees Dannhausen or knows his current whereabouts is asked to call the Eureka Police Department immediately at (707) 441-4044.
