The suspect in Monday’s armed robbery at the Umpqua Bank branch in Weaverville robbed a different bank near Chico on the very same day, the FBI believes, and has been tied to at least eight small-town bank robberies throughout northern California dating back to October 2013.

In a poster issued today, the FBI says that the suspect in all these cases is a medium-build white male in his 20s or 30s, between 5’ 10” and six feet tall, wearing a knit cap and carrying a backpack or bike messenger-style bag. He uses a black handgun.

The FBI, naturally, would like to hear from you if you have any information about this guy. They have more photos of him at this link. They say he should be considered armed and dangerous, and that you can call 1-800-CALL-FBI if you have anything to share.
