LoCO did. Humboldt’s afternoon rains could not extinguish the bern spreading through Eureka. Well, maybe for a minute or two.

As we noted yesterday, members of National Nurses United riding aboard a bright red BernieBus made several stops in Humboldt today — the Arcata Plaza, Humboldt State University and Old Town Eureka, specifically — to spread their enthusiasm for Bernie Sanders presidential campaign. Signs were waved. Voters were registered. Chanting ensued.

“The people of Humboldt County are certainly feeling the Bern, and as nurses, we know why,” said Lesley Ester, an RN at St. Joseph Hospital and a recently elected delegate for Bernie Sanders in a release sent to media in advance of today’s roving rally. Read more about NNU’s love of Bernie here.
