Frustration and fear continues to sweep the nation because of Donald Trump’s election as the 45th president. Outrage has escalated to the point of protests, even in downtown Eureka and other nearby cities.
In this LoCO video report we hit the streets to probe the minds of local citizens about the election. Some say they’re “fearful” and “scared,” while another says “what’s to be, is to be.”
We also hear from Eureka insurance agent and Trump supporter Gary Harner. He says, “My feeling is that politicians make a lot of promises every cycle and they don’t really fulfill what they say they’re going to do. Or if they do, it’s in some misguided way. So I think it’s fair to give somebody a shot that’s not a politician.”
