This past Halloweekend there was an altercation at the Siren’s Song Tavern which resulted in an employee being stabbed in the back. Eureka Police Department PIO Brittany Powell was kind enough to provide the Outpost with some details including a photo of the suspect:
On October 29, 2016 at about 10:49 p.m., EPD officers responded to a bar on the 300 block of 2nd Street for the report of an assault. A witness reported that an off duty employee was assaulted by an unknown male. The victim was hit in the throat and stabbed in the back with a sharp object (possibly broken glass). The victim got a ride to the hospital before officers arrived on scene.
The suspect was described as a white male, 27, 5‘8”, curly hair, and beard. The suspect was last seen walking north on D street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. A witness provided a picture of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call EPD at (707) 441-4044.
