Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On Monday, October 17th, 2016, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Deputies conducted a crime suppression sweep at various locations throughout the county, where there have been repeated calls for service and/or complaints from neighbors about suspected drug/criminal activity. The following arrests were made during the sweep:
- At a residence in the 3100 block of 18th Street in Eureka, Deputies located and arrested 37 year old Eureka resident Seth Mallo for violation of Mandatory Supervision Felony Probation.
- At a residence in the 1600 block of John Hill Road in Eureka, Deputies located and arrested 28 year old Eureka resident Jacklyn Vejraska for an outstanding warrant, and 30 year old Eureka resident Brandon Duncan for possession of approximately 5.2 grams of suspected heroin.
- At a residence in the 2300 block of Jersey Street in Eureka, Deputies located and arrested 51 year old Eureka resident Preston Snider for an outstanding warrant. During a search incident to arrest, Preston was found to be in possession of 2.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
- At a residence in the 3100 block of Church Street in Fortuna, Deputies located and arrested 44 year old Loleta resident Duane Bowie for multiple outstanding warrants and resisting arrest, and 32 year old Hydesville resident Michael Wentworth Jr. for outstanding warrants.
