Amy Bell Cox joined our Lord on September 5, 2016 at the age of 29. Amy was always smiling, but she had many struggles in her life, and with those struggles she spent a large part of her adult life living among her friends on the streets.

Although things were difficult, Amy had one special event in her life that brought her into our lives. Amy gave birth to a beautiful boy. She loved him with everything she had. Although she was unable to raise him, she was able to see him on occasions. She also received photos of his growth. Amy was so proud of him. It was through Amy and the Lord that we were blessed with raising him. Now Amy is in heaven watching him grow every day.

Amy is survived by her mother Kim Cox, sister Nina Gibson, brother Brian Gibson, and aunt Tammy Scribner.

There will be a memorial service at the Eureka Faith Center on Bay Street on October 8th at 10 a.m. All her friends and family are welcome to attend. For complimentary transportation to the service please call 707-442-1784 ext. 224.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Redwood Teen Challenge or Eureka Faith Center’s Celebrate Recovery in Amy’s name are appreciated.
