From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
On 04-08-17, Deputies from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office were on patrol in the 100 block of Empire Avenue, Redway when they noticed silver colored Toyota Tacoma parked partially in the roadway. Deputies learned prior to approaching the vehicle the registered owner of the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest for being a Felon in Possession of Ammunition. As deputies approached the vehicle, they noticed a male subject later identified as Shadrach Lamoureux asleep in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Deputies made contact with Lamoureux who admitted to having a handgun in his waistband. Deputies removed the loaded firearm from his waistband and Lamoureux was detained. Deputies located an additional loaded firearm in his coat pocket and another firearm stuffed between the passenger seat and center console.
Lamoureux was consequently arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was to be booked for the warrant and the following charges: PC 29800(a) Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 25400(a) Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and PC 30305(a) Prohibited Person from Possessing Ammunition. Lamoureux’s bail was set at $50,000 for the warrant and an additional $50,000 for the fresh charges.
