Molly

Molly Jo Robey passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 3, 2017 from complications of juvenile diabetes.  Molly was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on September 8, 1990 to John and Sallie Robey and was lovingly embraced by older sister Hannah.  At the age of two the family moved to Fortuna where they could be closer to family and friends.  

Molly attended school in Fortuna graduating from Fortuna High School in 2008.  Molly attended Shasta C.C. and College of the Redwoods and received an AA degree in Business Administration.  Molly lived in Venice Beach, California for three years where her free spirit excelled in the Southern California beach scene.  Molly loved to ride her beach cruiser bicycle and walk her dog Meatball.  Molly had a kind word for everyone she met and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by her parents John and Sallie and sister Hannah (fiancee John Hasler).  Uncle Lee Woodcock and wife Joan,  Aunt Lisa Jeffs and husband Robert, and her Auntie Mar and Steve.  And many cousins and relatives near and far.  She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Margaret and Don Woodcock and Bud and Joan Robey.

Molly’s free spirit and vibrance for life will live on in all the knew and loved her.   

There will be a Celebration of Life for Molly on Thursday August 10th at 1 p.m. at the Fortuna United Methodist Church.
