Linda
Davis was born on Dec. 11, 1965, and went home to Heaven on
Dec. 8, 2017, after a long hard fought battle with cancer. She
was an Angel on earth and has now gained her wings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Donna, and a sister, Nancy.
She is survived by her loving husband John Davis of Eueka; sisters Judy Roberts of Doyle, Calif., Sheryl Atoigue and her husband Tom of Graham, Wash.; aunt Delores of Applegate, Ore.; mother-in-law and father-in-law Myra and Jim Davis of Blackgum, Okla.; aunt Peggy Dalton of Fortuna; uncle Bill Davis of Plainsview, Ark.; nephew Josh Kountz of St. Louis, Mo.; niece Jessica Kountz of Olympia, Wash. and two grand-nephews, Conner and Sterling; numerous cousins and many, many friends.
Linda was very active in her church, both with people and for them. She was a giving person who always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. She never held a grudge and was quick to forgive.
Linda was also a licensed hair dresser and massage therapist. She spent time at C.R. studying early childhood development. She was working at a preschool when she started to get sick. She loved to go hunting with her husband, John, and her in-laws, and spending time at their cabin in Willow Creek. She loved to host the Churches Family Campout there, and did so for many years. It was great fun and great memories for all.
Linda also loved to spend time in Applegate, Ore., where she and her Aunt Delores would go shopping and go the gem and rock shows there.
Linda had many friends, but her best friend, besides John, was Tammy Reed, with whom she spent much time, either together or on the phone. Linda will be greatly missed all.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be on Saturday Dec.16th at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 3400 F St., Eureka. There will a pot-luck afterwards. Please come and share your memories of Linda.
