Sounds like Caltrans has just about cleared that slide that temporarily fully closed Highway 101 north of Laytonville earlier today (see how it looked earlier today, above). Two-lane traffic should be restored soon.
That’s all well and good, but the Humboldt County Department of Public Works just sent out it’s Tuesday afternoon list (as of 3:30 p.m.) of local road closures. It’s long! Check if your path home is impeded below:
