A broken water main has partially shut down one northbound lane of Highway 101 near the Eureka Slough Bridge.
The city of Eureka stated in a press release that customers on Jacobs Avenue will be without water until 6 p.m. Read more from the city below.

Due to a break in the water main, all water customers located on Jacobs Avenue will be without water until approximately 6 p.m.
In addition, because of the location of the repair, the northbound right lane of Highway 101 will be closed from V Street to north of the Eureka Slough Bridge until approximately 6 p.m., February 23, 2017.
The City of Eureka apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Please exercise caution when driving in this area and consider alternate routes if possible.
