Around 9:45 this morning, Caltrans Public Information Officer Myles Cochrane called into KHUM to elaborate on the 211 situation.
The following roads are closed:
- Highway 1 is closed 1.5 miles from 101 due to slide
- Highway 211 closed due to flooding from North Waddington to Fernbridge Drive is now open to one way traffic
- Highway 254 (Avenue of the Giants) due to trees down between Myers Flat & Burlington
- Highway 299 closed at Big French Creek due to slide
- Alderpoint Road PM15 - slide one lane
- Benbow Drive - closed at mile marker 3.4 near Fish Canyon Road due to failing culvert
- Butler Valley - slide at PM 6 passable
- Buttermilk Lane near 2777 Arcata is flooded
- Camp Weott is closed
- Cannibal Road - flooded
- Cock Robin Island Road is flooded, travel with caution
- Coffee Creek Road is flooded
- Dillon Road is closed between Riverside and Goble due to flooding
- Dyerville Loop Road - closed PM 3.5, slip out
- Dyerville Loop Road PM 15 - slide, passable
- Elk Creek Road in Myers Flat is flooded
- Elk River Road at Berta Road is flooded
- Fields Landing Road is flooded
- Fulmor Road closed
- Goble Lane closed
- Graham Road is closed
- Hawks Hill road is closed
- Hookton Road at Eel River is closed
- Jackson Ranch Road at Foster Ave in Arcata is flooded
- Mad River Road PM 2.75 is flooded
- McCann Ferry not running
- Meridian Road is closed
- Morgan Road is closed
- Mosswood in Benbow is closed due to slip out (UPDATE: detoured to East Blue Rock)
- Nissen Road is closed
- Old Arcata Road has flooding at Jacoby Creek
- Old Briceland Road through Marshall Ranch - closed due to slide
- Pine Creek is flooded
- Pine Hill Road at Elk River Road is flooded
- Port Kenyon Road is flooded
- Sage is closed
- Salmon Creek Road is one lane in various spots
- Shively Flat area roads closed due to flooding
- Showers Pass Road is four wheel drive only
- Sole Street is flooded
- Thorne Road is flooded
- Upper Cappell Road is flooded
- Waddington is closed
- Walnut & Redwood Drive in Eureka is flooded
- Wilder Ridge @ 10.25 is one lane
