Superintendent Daria Lowery of Fieldbrook Elementary called into the Outpost this morning to tell us that there’s no school in Fieldbrook today, seeing as how a big chunk of Fieldbrook — including the school — has had no electricity since Saturday night.

“The school is so cold that even if they popped the power back on right now, it’d be too cold to be there,” Lowery said. 

She said that PG&E couldn’t give her an estimated time of restoral, though the LoCO Blackout-Bot reports that crews are hoping to have neighborhood back online by 1 p.m. today.
